Restrictions, Tips, and FAQs
Below, you will find answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) as well as other helpful information about the Expo.
Please note that all bags will be subject to inspection at the entry gates.
Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: Admission to the event is free.
Q: Where should I park and how much will parking cost?
A: Parking is free. The event will be held on airport grounds. Plan to enter on either St Vrain Rd or Airport Road. For ease of entry to either gate, arriving via a southbound direction of travel on Airport Rd is preferred. A detailed parking map can be found here.
Q: What time do the gates open / close?
A: Static displays and the kids space will open starting at 7:00 a.m. and run until the close of the expo at 3:00 p.m.
Q: What time are the aerial displays? (aka “Airshow”)
A: Aerial displays/flybys/performers will take to the skies from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Click here to view the day’s full schedule.
Q: What about bicycle parking?
A: Bicycle parking will be provided outside of the show / airport ramp area at the Airport Road entrance. Please bring your own bike locks. No bikes will be allowed inside of the show area.
Q: Will beer/alcohol be available?
A: Yes. This year’s event will feature a beer garden, sponsored by Oskar Blues, running from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: No, smoking inside the airport grounds is not permitted.
Q: Is there a lost and found/lost child center?
A: Yes, the first aid desk will be the primary point of contact.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: No animals will allowed at the event with the sole exception of service animals.
Q: What should I bring?
A: Sunscreen, water (note that several food vendors will have water available for purchase), chairs, etc. Due to the nature of the airshow, hearing protection (ear plugs) for younger children may be desired.
Q: What can I not bring?
A: Firearms are prohibited. Alcohol brought in or purchased outside of the designated beer garden area is also prohibited. Coolers are also prohibited.

Q: Can I bring folding lawn/camp chairs?
A: Yes, however please be aware of all aircraft movement areas. Lawn chairs that are unattended can be blown around and damage aircraft or injure people.
